What we collect, why, and how to make us delete it. Short, because we collect little.
We set no cookies and we do not track you across other websites. If you give us your email we use it to send you job matches and nothing else, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one line to [email protected].
workremote.ie is operated by Written Craft (Conor Maloney), based in Ireland, who is the data controller for the information described below. For anything on this page — including a request to see, correct or delete your data — write to [email protected]. If you need our postal details in order to make a formal request or a complaint, ask and we will provide them.
Only if you submit the form. Along with your address we receive your field and whether you would consider a role needing UK payroll or relocation, so we can send you roles that are relevant rather than a generic list. Your answer to the right-to-work question is deliberately not sent — it shapes the number you see on your own screen and then it is discarded.
Lawful basis: your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us, and withdrawing it costs you nothing else.
Kept for: as long as you want the emails. Ask us to delete it and it goes, along with the checker answers.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It records that a page was loaded, from roughly which country, on roughly what kind of device. It does not set an identifier, does not follow you to other sites, and does not let us pick you out of the numbers. We use it to see whether anyone is finding the site useful.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works. Because it is cookieless and not personal data, there is no consent banner to click.
These tools are not live yet. When they are, this is what will happen, and this notice will be updated to drop this sentence.
If you paste your CV in to get a fit score, a tailored CV or a cover letter, that text is sent together with the job listing to OpenAI, which generates the reply. We do not store your CV: it passes through our server, goes to OpenAI, and the result comes back to your browser. We keep a count of how many times an address has used the tool that day, as a hashed value, so that nobody can run up the bill — that count cannot be turned back into your email address.
Lawful basis: your consent, given by choosing to use the tool.
Only the services that make the site work. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
| Formspree | Receives and stores the email form submissions |

| Cloudflare | Hosts the site and provides the anonymous statistics |
| OpenAI | Generates the CV output, once those tools are live |
These providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States, so your data is transferred there. Each operates under its own safeguards for such transfers; if you would like to know the specifics for one of them before signing up, ask us and we will point you at their current terms.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, take it elsewhere, or object to our using it. One email to [email protected] is enough — you do not need to explain why, and we will reply within a month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to Ireland's supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission, at dataprotection.ie. We would rather you told us first, but you are not obliged to.
None. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The eligibility checker runs entirely on your device and forgets your answers when you close the tab, unless you submit the form.
If we start doing something materially different with your data we will update this page and change the date below. Last updated 09 August 2026.
Separately, and not a privacy matter: the eligibility verdicts on this site are our reading of what each listing says. They are guidance, not immigration or legal advice — always confirm with the employer before relying on one.
